About Sundarban

Sundarban, one of the popular UNESCO world heritage site and also the “New 7 wonders of the Nature”, consists of a complex ecosystem of mangroves forest. It is convergence land formed by Ganga, Brahmaputra, Padma and Meghna. It lies mostly in the regions of Bangladesh of an estimated region of about 91% whereas a small portion of 19% lies in India.

This marshy land of Sundarban is popular for the endangered Royal Bengal Tigers across the globe.One can see diverse species of birds, spotted deers, crocodiles and snakes. A portion of this region is also used for cultivation of crops.
